the lantz household celebrated it's first ever halloween and olive joined in the festive spirit, dressed up as a ballerina.
she kept watch all night on the porch and our neighborhood ghouls and goblins got a real kick out of a dog with a costume!
the weather was chilly and most kids go to the housing developments for "good" candy, but we had a loyal, if not modest, turnout of about 40 kids.
already we're planning for next year and we've learned some great lessons - like be sure to only buy candy that we'll be willing to eat. apparently i was overly optimistic because we have an entire bag that wasn't even opened. :)
